Dr. Brian Chiswell received a BS in biology from Francis Marion University and a PhD in biochemistry from the University of South Carolina. Following graduate school, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Yale University School of Medicine in the department of pharmacology and then spent three years performing discovery stage research in the biotechnology industry. Dr. Chiswell has published eight peer-reviewed papers and contributed to solving several 3D structures of protein complexes. He is now an Associate Professor at Touro University's NYSCAS in Manhattan and Deputy Chair of the NYSCAS Biology Department.
